Windows confirmation screen (sometimes)

On some systems, Windows asks for confirmation when downloading newer apps. This is normal.

Why it happens (and what to click)

TaskScapes is built by an independent developer, and Windows SmartScreen may show a confirmation dialog until an app builds download history. It doesn’t mean the app is unsafe.

The short version: This doesn’t mean the file is unsafe — it just hasn’t built a long download history yet.

TaskScapes is code-signed, and you can verify the publisher name directly in the dialog.
